Good evening and Happy Valentine’s to you. May I pull at your heart strings on this day of love? As you know I’ve been getting busy at the gym with my Ride for Heart training. On June 3rd I’ll be riding in the 25th Anniversary ride and my fundraising goal is: $1000 So I need your help. Yes I am asking for donations. I’m asking you to donate and be my Valentine According to the Heart and Stroke Foundation: Heart disease and stroke take 1 in 3 Canadians before their time Almost 90 percent of Canadians think they’re healthy. But 90 percent of Canadians have at least one risk factor. Fear not, you can do something to help prevent these conditions:
If you can donate please do, and no matter what please think of your heart health today … … and you’ll make me the happiest Valentine of all

Hi Crystal!I met you only briefly at the Crytal’s Corner Bike Rally we hotsed here in Boise last October. I was touched by your warmth, determination, and commitment to your health and your family, despite the challenge you were, and still are facing. So at those times when you do ask your self why me? , let me help to reassure you of a few reasons why Because you have the ability to touch and inspire people, even in a short time, with an inner beauty that far, far exceeds your outer beauty. Because you give hope and inspiration to those who are currently fighting, or will someday fight cancer themselves. Because you’ve taught so many of us about Ovarian Cancer it’s signs, symptoms and treatments that will undoubtly raise awareness and save lives. Because you’ve set an incedible example as a dedicated and selfless mother, wife, family member and friend, that others can try to live up to. Because your succesful battle will prove to all of us that ANYTHING can be accomplished with the right mindset, faith, commitment and determination. Those, dear Crystal, are just a few of the reasons why you were chosen. We will all keep up the prayers for you and your family, and continue to follow you on your road to recovery. You keep up the fight! We’re all in your Corner!Steve Doud
